The
following Tech Note explains two ways to solve the license error “Check: License unsuccessful. Invalid
License(12): Date verification failed" in case of using a version
prior to GISIZE 2021 SP1 P03 included.
When we use
the non-universal date format, that is, with hyphens "-" it causes
problems with the GISIZE license. This format is not supported in the versions before
GISIZE 2021 SP1 P03. Even if the
licensing process has been carried out correctly, In the "License
Status" the message appears “Invalid
License(12): Date verification failed”:
If you try
to open the GISIZE Runtime Preview, you will get the message "GISIZE –
Unregistered …":
and in the
logger, it will show the following warning messages:
There are
two options to solve this license issue and they are explained below.
Option 1: Apply the following workaround
1- Unassign license from client machine.
2- Download the folder License.zip from Attachments.
3- Unzip the folder.
4- Copy the file "Uninstall.bat" to the
folder "C:\Program Files (x86)\GISIZE\License".
5- Run the "Uninstall.bat" as
Administrator, with this you'll uninstall the old license service.
6- Copy the rest of the files of the zip folder to "C:\Program Files
(x86)\GISIZE\License" and override the files.
If you have problems overriding the files, please
make sure the GISIZE_LicenseRestClient service is stopped.
7- Run the "Install.bat" file as
Administrator, with this you'll install the new license service.
8- Open windows services and start the "GISIZE_LicenseRestClient".
9- Now you can use the License Utility. Assign the license and check the License Status.
Option 2: Update to the latest version of GISIZE.
To access the download area, you need to register.
