TN278LK CHANGE REGIONAL SETTINGS TO SOLVE ISSUES WITH DTL TAGS TREAL (SIDIRECT)

This document solve the issue for DTL Tags, who are always looking for the machine's regional settings , but if we want to change the regional settings to obtain other fomat for a speficic DTL tag, we must follow this steps.

1.  Check that Swedish (with default option) is set in the “Format” and “Location” tabs

2. Check that Swedish is set for the Language for non Unicode programs in the “Administrative” tab

3. Check  also that the same “Swedish” settings has been applied to the “Welcome screen” and “new user accounts” by clicking on the “copy settings in the“Administrative” tab.
If the settings are different between the users you have to force to align them by checking the “Welcome screen and system account” and “new user account” option and confirm with OK.

4. With the previous setting you are sure that all the programs and services (included a non Unicode program) are activated with and are using the sameregional settings. A machine reboot is necessary after that you aligned the settings

5. For "recent" operating systems also check  :Check in the regional settings/Administrative tab Language for non Unicode program that the “Beta” option is not set. There are other cases with app server with strange behaviors with the data conversion when this option is enabled
